CALLING 4 DIVINE INTERVENTION
This is a prayer for Kenya and the people of this nation to the almighty to intervene on our behalf during this general elections.
It has reached a point that Kenyans have become so desperate that we are not thinking straight and there is a possibility of voting wrongly out of this.
I pray therefore that God may visit each and every voter during the voting day and show them the light because its not only our lives that are at stake but also of those who cannot vote due to various reasons.
We should never trust those sweet words from politicians, most of this politicians we are following so religiously are nothing but mean selfish individuals who are only after their own interests.
Let us open our eyes and realise that Raila, Kibaki,Kalonzo and several others are all the same crop, nevertheless we need a president next year.
My prayer therefore is to ask God to lead us as we vote, for the prosperity of this nation and our lives , GOD IS ABLE.

KIBAKI OR RAIRA ?
Clearly as of now its going to be a two horse race to the house on the hill and who ever wins its going to be their victory { family and close associates } , nothing for us will have changed.
We will just go back to our homes probably exited or disappointed for no good reason, the reality the next day when we go back to our usual life struggles will strike and strike hard; that nothing really changed.
Kenyans are becoming desperate , nobody will ever come to us and do magic in our lives apart from us, lets all work toward improving our lives and those of our families and spend less time politicking.
Whoever wins , RAILA or KIBAKI for us commoners its hustling as usual this people are not different they are the same crop as a matter of fact the only win we can have as Kenyans is if all the current politicians leave the scene.
If Raila wins for example he will protect Kibaki , Moi, Uhuru and even Ringera , you heard his recent retreat on Moi's , why do this people treat us like animals in a circus .

THE WAY FORWARD IN KENYAS POLITICAL SCENE
Without tending towards the extreme i think Kenyans have been patient enough with our politicians until they have become what they are today , {evil} we are trapped and there is nothing we can do about it [technically].
I say this becoz :
{1} we cannot boycott against them we need them to tell us to do that , of course they will never do that
{2} we cannot wish away politics , we need politicians its the way democracy works world over ... good politicians.
{3} we can never vote all of them out and replace them with a new group which will have been vetted .
{4} we cannot change the constitution without them to make them accountable and answerable to the people of Kenya {literally}.
The list is endless and am sure already you have so many in your mind.
However this is not say that we are helpless there are quite a number of ways out of this, one and my most preferred is through prayers, i think/believe God can help us if truly cry to him passionately . He is able, lets pray for our country not our politicians lets ask God to rescue us from them, they are all the same we need a clean up.
What can we do to keep them away for some time until we put everything in place and then choose fresh vetted, competent, honest, hard working lot ???

TRIBALISM
I recently read an article by the US ambassador talking about the problems that were experienced in the US before they learnt how to live in harmony in comparison to our problems regarding tribalism . What i got from the article is that they recognized everyone , agreed they were different and decided to work towards being Americans without loosing/ignoring their very natural uniqueness. I could not agree more therefore i thought we revisit this post :.......
Allow me to share my thoughts on this topic which i think is wrongly used, understood and misused.
Tribe according to most dictionaries is :a social division of people, division of a society whose members have somethings in common like ancestry and beliefs in other words its one big family.
What am trying to drive at here is that its only natural that we are all tribalists and its okay, this is nothing out of our making just like being alive, let no one lie to themselves that they don't favour one of their own. You don't have to think about it it comes naturally the same way we love members of our immediate family more than our friends, ''charity begins at home'' i didn't make that up.
Most Kenyans will give alot of talk about how they were brought up in a cosmopolitan town and how they bearly speak their mother tongue ( this mostly is a lie and denial or simply narrow mindedness,) i have friends born and brought up in the US and are very good with their mother tongue and proud too.
This topic therefore needs to reviewed especially in Kenya, its not a crime to be born which ever tribe , we should be proud of our tribes first then Kenyans second not the other way round.
we will never be proud to be Kenyans if first, we don't cherish our roots after all being Kenyan is only plastic artificial made by the colonialists with their borders there was nothing called Kenya before that.
Our tribes have been there for thousands of years the white man came the other day and told us we are Kenyans and we should forget our tribes , we should know better by now.
Politicians use tribes to ascend to power and soon after winning they tell us to shun tribalism, this clearly shows that we can use tribalism positively. Lets understand our diversity and that way we can unite being well informed .
The white men will go into a lot of trouble to trace or to keep their family tree, some African Americans spare no coin to trace their origins their tribes, ''Oprah anybody ?''
Your tribe is like your species so to say, you cannot deny that, we do not exist in space nothing does even animals belong to their individual species and a lion will not stop being a lion simply because it was born in a zoo some where in central London ( for those of you who claim not to understand your tribe ).
Come on fellow Kenyans , open your damn half open eyes and see , our strength is in our diversity .
Aaaaaaaah nimechoka !!!! i feel frustrated, some one ? tell me i am wrong...... please!
For the record: Najivunia Kua Mkenya but only najivunia kuwa my tribe kwanza

WHATS M-7 UP TO ?
The recent tours museveni has been making together with the freebies he has been dishing out
are making me kidogo uncomfy, not that i have ever trusted the former warlord. His quest for
EAC leadership is somehow disturbing considering that his country has had the least
contribution in whatever terms to the muungano and the fact that he seems to be going against
the wishes of the majority ugadans , arent his goals kinda silfish ?
''watch this space'' ...................................
Hey the shakers (tremors) are finally over and it feels good kube God is still the mightiest i had forgotten i have to restart my relationship with him.
Got this from a friend found it quite something,

WANTED: LIFE EXPERT
This blogger is looking for an expert in this field because there seems to be so many quacks giving all sorts of advise in life which mostly don't work.
Therefore the need to specialize on one qualified expert( if there is any) to answer all my stupid questions and those of my friends and enemies, he or she must be highly competent, experienced, tolerant, able to work 24-7, financially stable because this is completely a voluntary job.
successful candidates will be contacted, good luck [...]

THE MUNGIKI ISSUE
I have refrained from commenting about this issue for a long time though it has been killing me till i cant hold no more.
My understanding of the whole issue is that mungiki is just the first symptom of a very serious ailment growing/brewing within the Kenya society.
I don't wanna be the prophet of doom but normally after first symptom there comes the next one if first one is ignored or handled inappropriately, mungiki didn't come from nowhere nor did taliban and several others which as much as we would like to believe they are gone, the truth is they are still very much around.
The ''quick fix'' approach to this issue wont work( own view ) , just like a head ache which we normally brush aside by taking pain killer and then its business as usual. The fact as we all know is that a head ache is just a symptom the body is saying something is wrong and you need to see a doctor for thorough check up .
How many adherents are the police capable of killing or arresting ? by their own assertions mungiki claim to be over a million, are we ready to kill one million Kenyans and the our problems will be over? experience has shown that force rarely solves anything, how many Kenyans believe Bush used the right approach in dealing with Iraq .
Why why ! (sob) cant we use our very good diplomacy that we are very good at as demonstrated in our role in Sudan and Somalia, why cant we can also use it in Kenya because clearly there is a problem.
Somebody make me understand why we cant form a commission of inquiry to look into the root causes of this groups and come up with recommendations , probably the team that was very instrumental in Sudan peace process will find this a piece of cake. That problem in mount elgon could also be included not forgetting cattle rustling between pokot and marakwet and also in north eastern and yes coast land problems.
disclaimer: i am not a supporter of mungiki or any other illegal groups nor do i support any of their activities or approach.

THE TRUTH ABOUT ECONOMY GROWTH
No i have nothing against the media, i say this because i may seem to hit on them previously
and in the future. ( last paragraph )
Now to the issue, i think i finally agree with the minister for finance that our economy grew/is growing ( whatever) by over 6 % , yesterday there came to be another ''daily'' in the name of the Nairobi star which if the stories i hear are correct sold out by nine.
That what makes my point because if nairobians were able to put 35 bob more onto their budget to an extent of overwhelming the publisher, then the economy really grew. I am almost certain that the sales of the two main papers didn't notice the new entrant, am not sure about the sales of 'others' but again the target was the mainstream readers .
My point therefore is valid because the only explanation is those who normally reads any of the two or both added another item on the daily to buy list without flinching, i kind a think there is money for a few more papers and such like stuff.
Personally i wont talk about the contents/quality of the paper that i will leave to all of you who bought one and the several comments by fellow blogger, or should i say time will tell .
Just a thought can somebody sue for getting a low deal than what was advertised( impression created) ; any lawyer in the house?

This and that
Today is Friday and i don't wanna spoil you day with my whining at least not on a furahi day.
So, safcom did it again another clean sweep 17b wow! i was wondering how the hell they do that
til i discovered its not them its us ( clap for yourself here), puzzled?...... don't be look at today's
daily nation editorial cartoon ( get it ?).
We've got a new kid in town or shud a say in k-e-n-y-a , ombudsman one Simani James i sow
him on tv jana, he didn't look so ombusmanish to me will he take the heat ? am tempted to think
that his should be a fully fledged national office with wings in every division in this country and
should work off provincial administration ( be established in the constitution) to cut the story short.
That gtv thing didn't impress me to say the least i expected a revolution in the TV industry, i
guess if i have to "upgrade" i would rather save and invest in the new dstv family package ama!
Hii weekedi sijui itakuaje with the new beer prices ;the budget was not so friendly with the
members of walevi club, but as usual restructuring have to be made so that i continue taking
my dose that means cutting down on other things(domestic).
Its hardly lunchtime and the weekend mood has caught up with me, anyway have your self a
nice weekend usifoget kujienjooeey ! poa

To be or not to be
Lately there have been alot going on around that as much as sometimes i want to shut myself
away from current affairs, i feel dragged in to them. I don't know whether there is a coz if there
is (safely) i would like to take a brake away from national issues and international one s too, say
for a month (any assistance here.....thanks) .
Does some one think the media is at most responsible for burdening us with so much , why do i
have to get worried bcoz some politician lost in an election or is admitted in some fancy hospital
or his son is having a wedding which of course am not invited.
Why cant i just have my private life, issues, my own politics, my weddings ,my budget speech,
my breaking news etc. ete. na kathalica na kathalika..... And you who lives out of this country
only to come for bashes and then whine about how Kenyan bashes are backward, pole! next time don't come, now that you have "discovered". Sssshidwe!

UNIQUE KENYA
So many things happen in Kenya that are so unique am tempted to wonder , what is so pecurior about the country or the people who live or the history or could it be the geography,weather........WHAT ? Take the recen past events or whatever you would prefer to call them ,why do they happen to us and those that are not so unique to us why do we react so uniqely .
I will take the EALA issue for comparison purposes leave alone the more unique cases we have, why is it so difficult for us to agree on who is going to represent us while our neighbours did that with ease .
Somebody please help me to understand why i feel like we are aliens i a world not so alien to us.
